Designed to help provide rigid support to stiff, weak or injured ankles. Use while wearing a low-heel, closed walking or athletics shoe. For best performance and comfort, wear a sock underneath the stabilizer. Wear all day or during activities which lead to discomfort. Support level 3: Provides the highest level of support and stabilization, using flexible, hinged, plastic and/or aluminum stabilizers to help reduce risk or re-injury and relieve symptoms associated with acute injuries. | Wearing instructions: 1. Open all hook fasteners and slide foot into the stabilizer. Loop the top strap through the buckle, pull and secure it. Fit should feel firm, yet comfortable. 2. Pull strap on left side of foot up and across, attaching the hook fastener to the opposite side of the ankle stabilizer. 3. Follow same directions for remaining strap. Adjust both straps until fit around bottom of foot feels firm, yet comfortable. Care instructions: Close fasteners prior to washing. Hand wash with mild soap in warm (not hot) water. Rinse well and air dry. DO NOT: machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean, or use bleach or fabric softeners. Size selection: For either foot, this ankle stabilizer has been designed to create a customized fir for most body types. Measure around ankle. Size: adjust to fit, 8-10 inches, 20.3-25.4 cm. | |
